Silage tubes and bags are a fast and efficient way to preserve baled silage. The silage is contained in an oxygen free environment that is ideal for maintaining feed quality.
Donaghys Silage Tubes and Bags are tough and dependable with high tear and puncture resistance properties. All tubes and bags are UV stabilised to withstand the harshest of Australasian conditions. We recommend that Silage Tubes and Bags be stored on a flat, well drained, hard, level surface away from livestock.

The unique memory of the stretch film means that the tube can be stretched and still return to its original form. Bales are pushed into the tube and the stretch is released to form tightly around the bale, creating an oxygen free environment ideal for maintaining feed quality.
Gases created during the fermentation process can cause excessive stress on the Lastic® Tube. When this occurs, venting is necessary. We recommend the use of Donaghys Silage Tape when resealing the vented tube. |
