* LessN has proven to double the response to Nitrogen fertiliser based on the average of 53 replicated scientific pasture trials, and trial data for the specific rate of 40 kg/ha of dissolved urea (plus 3 L/ha LessN) compared to 80 kg/ha urea.

These trials showed that the same amount of dry matter can be grown by spraying 3 Litres of LessN with 40kg of dissolved urea per hectare, compared to applying 80 kg of urea (spread or sprayed) per hectare.

Spraying on urea has environmental benefits as well, such as reduced losses of nitrogen through volatilisation and the more rapid uptake of nitrogen, means there is less chance nitrogen will be wasted in urine where it could be leached.
